The UTG4162A is a 160 MHz two-channel arbitrary waveform generator of the UTG4000A line. Built on a 16-bit DAC and 500 MSa/s sample rate with 32 Mpts of ARB memory, it outputs sine, square, ramp, harmonic, pulse, noise, DC, and arbitrary waveforms on two independent channels with frequency resolution of 1 µHz.
The instrument includes AM/FM/PM/ASK/FSK/PSK/PWM modulation, linear and logarithmic sweep, burst modes, and channel tracking and coupling. A 4.3-inch color TFT display provides direct operation alongside USB-Device, USB-Host, and LAN with SCPI for remote control.
It suits 160 MHz two-channel waveform generation for RF-adjacent bench test, communications stimulus, and mixed-signal applications requiring 500 MSa/s and 32 Mpts ARB memory.
