The UTG2082X is a two-channel arbitrary waveform generator of the Advanced-Series, built around a 16-bit DAC and a 625 MSa/s native sample rate (1.25 GSa/s with 2× interpolation). It produces sine output to 80 MHz and square and pulse to 40 MHz, with equal-performance dual channels that deliver full 20 Vpp output simultaneously up to 20 MHz and a 64 Mpts arbitrary-waveform memory for long-form custom stimulus.
Frequency resolution is 1 µHz across the full range, total harmonic distortion stays below 0.07 % (DC to 20 kHz), and spurious-free dynamic range reaches −80 dBc. Fifteen analog and digital modulation types are supported (AM, FM, PM, DSB-AM, ASK, FSK, PSK, 3FSK, 4FSK, BPSK, QPSK, OSK, SUM, QAM, PWM), with linear, logarithmic, and stepwise sweep and three burst modes. Channel Merge, Channel Follow, and Channel Stacking enable dual-tone, multi-frequency, and signal-plus-noise generation from one instrument. A 4.3-inch capacitive touch display, a 7-digit frequency counter (100 mHz to 200 MHz), and LAN, USB-Device, USB-Host, and SCPI provide direct operation and automated test integration.
It suits communications-class stimulus, mixed analog/digital signal simulation, and benches that need touch-driven operation with ATE connectivity.
