The UT8806EG is the GPIB variant of the UT8806E 6½-digit Performance-Series bench digital multimeter, with an IEEE-488.2 GPIB interface in place of RS-232. All measurement specifications are identical: 0.0035% basic DC voltage accuracy, 10,000 readings/second maximum reading rate, a 1,999,999-count display, True-RMS, four-wire resistance to 1 GΩ, dual display, and 32 Gb of NAND flash storage.
DC voltage resolves to 0.1 µV and resistance to 10 µΩ, with thermocouple and RTD temperature measurement (−270 °C to 1820 °C, cold-end compensation), a full math/statistics/dB/dBm/Pass-Fail suite, and four display modes. The IEEE-488.2 GPIB bus integrates the instrument directly into established automated-test racks without a USB-to-GPIB adapter, alongside LAN and USB with SCPI, VXI-11, and USBTMC support. RS-232 is not available on this variant.
It suits test environments standardized on the GPIB bus — calibration labs running established procedures, multi-instrument production racks, and teaching labs with existing GPIB-controller infrastructure.
