The UT8803E is a 3⅚-digit Classic-Series bench digital multimeter with a 5,999-count display, 0.3% basic DC voltage accuracy, True-RMS AC measurement, and auto-ranging. Beyond the standard voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, diode, continuity, frequency, and temperature functions, it adds inductance measurement to 100 H and capacitor/inductor D and Q quality-factor readout.
True-RMS gives accurate readings on non-sinusoidal waveforms such as switching supplies, motor drives, and PWM loads, while the extended LCR-light functions cover transformer winding inductance, motor stator verification, resonant-circuit Q, and RF choke validation inside a general-purpose bench DMM. Thermocouple temperature measurement spans −40 °C to 1000 °C, and a USB-Device interface connects to a host PC with included software for data logging and trend monitoring.
It suits electronics labs and service-bench work needing reliable component characterization beyond basic resistance and capacitance.
