The UT513B is a 5 kV insulation resistance tester rated CAT IV 600 V, with the headroom for medium-voltage motors, transformers, switchgear, and long cable runs.
It applies selectable test voltages from 250 V to 5000 V and reads insulation resistance up to 2 TΩ at ±(5% + 5). It runs the timed diagnostics that distinguish healthy insulation from a passing spot check — Polarization Index, Dielectric Absorption Ratio, and a 10%-of-range stepped-voltage profile — with a timer, a comparison function, a high-voltage alarm, automatic discharge, storage for 999 result sets, and USB transfer.
