The UT512E is a 2.5 kV digital insulation resistance tester rated CAT IV 600 V, suited to low- and medium-voltage motors, cables, and switchgear where full 5 kV output is not required but a wide, high-resistance range still is.
It applies test voltages up to 2500 V and reads insulation resistance up to 2.5 TΩ at ±(5% + 5). Diagnostics include Polarization Index testing, a 10% stepped-voltage profile, and a comparison function, with capacitance measurement to 2 µF and automatic discharge after each test. Auto-ranging, a 5 mA short-circuit current, and USB transfer support routine use.
