The UPO7104L is a 1 GHz four-channel oscilloscope in a 1U headless rack-mount form factor with external HDMI display, built for high-density ATE-rack integration. It provides a 10 GSa/s real-time sample rate in single-channel mode (5 GSa/s dual, 2.5 GSa/s four-channel), with 1 Gpts, 500 Mpts, and 250 Mpts of memory respectively; the calculated rise time is 350 ps. Selectable 50 Ω / 1 MΩ inputs support general-purpose and 50 Ω signal-chain work on the same front end.
An 8-bit ADC pairs with a high-resolution mode (12 effective bits) and an FPGA-resident ERes filter (+3 bits on band-limited signals), and an UltraAcq acquisition engine delivers ≥ 600,000 wfms/s (2,000,000 wfms/s in sequence mode) with sub-1 µs dead time. The platform integrates eight functions — oscilloscope, FFT spectrum analyzer, 4-digit DVM, 8-digit frequency counter, optional 60 MHz arbitrary waveform generator, 11-protocol serial-bus analyzer, optional power analyzer, and optional jitter and eye-diagram analysis.
Up to 128 instruments synchronize for as many as 512 channels with 200 ps RMS trigger jitter. Built on a Windows 10 platform with on-instrument MATLAB/Python post-processing, it provides dual Gigabit LAN, a full SCPI command set over USBTMC, and web-browser remote control, suiting it to parallel-test ATE racks and multi-instrument system validation.
