The UDP6942B is a 360 W programmable DC switching power supply with an auto-ranging 60 V × 15 A output, delivering flexible voltage/current combinations within the rated power from a single instrument. Setting resolution is 1 mV / 0.1 mA.
Independently configurable voltage- and current-slope (VSR/ISR) modes set rise and fall rates for soft start and stop into inrush-prone loads; a built-in 4½-digit DVM monitors a second voltage point on the device under test; and four-wire remote sense holds voltage accurate at the load. A list mode with delay function programs voltage/current sequences for automated profiles and battery-charge simulation, with configurable OVP/OCP thresholds.
A full interface set — USB Device, USB Host, RS-232, RS-485, LAN with web-browser control, and external analog I/O — supports SCPI, Multi-SCPI, and Modbus RTU, and RS-485 master/slave links multiple units for series or parallel operation, suiting it to low-voltage motor-drive testing, inverter input-stage qualification, and DC-DC converter development.
