UDP5160-40 2000W 160V/40A Programmable DC Switching Power Supply

The UDP5160-40 is a single-channel 2000 W programmable DC switching power supply with a 0–160 V / 0–40 A output that auto-ranges across the rated power envelope. Voltage is regulated to ±(0.05% of set + 0.05% of rated) and current to ±(0.5% of set + 0.1% of rated), with output ripple held to 100 mV peak-to-peak and a 100 ppm/°C temperature coefficient. A 2.4-inch TFT-LCD shows voltage, current, and power simultaneously.

Adjustable internal resistance up to 3.00 Ω electronically emulates the source impedance of batteries, fuel cells, and solar panels, while selectable CC/CV priority and adjustable voltage and current slew rates control how power is applied to inrush-prone or sensitive loads. List Mode stores up to 128 programmable voltage/current/dwell steps that run stand-alone for 1 to 9,999 or unlimited cycles, and up to four units can be combined in series or parallel for higher voltage or current. Protections include OVP, OCP, FOCP, OTP, power limit, and watchdog.

The supply is controlled from the front panel or remotely over USB and LAN using SCPI 1999.0 / IEEE-488.2, suiting it to power-supply design and validation, battery and energy-storage testing, DC/DC and automotive electronics development, and unattended automated test and production.
