The MSO5034HD is a 350 MHz, 4-channel mixed signal oscilloscope built on a native 12-bit ADC architecture and the entry model of the MSO5000HD line. It provides a 5 GSa/s real-time sample rate (interleave), 500 Mpts maximum memory depth, a calculated rise time of ≤1.00 ns, and Ultra Phosphor 3.0 acquisition at 800,000 wfms/s standard — 1,500,000 wfms/s in Sequential Mode — on a 10.1-inch capacitive multi-touch display.
The 12-bit resolution holds at the full bandwidth with no ERES averaging or sample-rate trade (up to 16 effective bits with ERES), sixteen times the vertical resolution of a conventional 8-bit oscilloscope (4,096 levels versus 256). The instrument integrates oscilloscope, optional 16-channel logic analyzer, optional arbitrary waveform generator, 2.5 GHz spectrum analyzer, digital voltmeter, frequency counter, Bode plot, protocol analyzer, and optional power analyzer. Fifteen protocols are supported — RS-232/422/485/UART, I²C, SPI, CAN, and LIN standard, with CAN-FD, CAN-XL, FlexRay, SENT, Audio, MIL-STD-1553B, ARINC 429, Manchester, 1-Wire, and I3C optional. An optional 50 MHz dual-channel, 16-bit AWG pairs with the optional Bode plot analyzer, and an optional power suite adds switching-loss, harmonic, ripple, slew-rate, on-resistance, and safe-operating-area analysis. Remote control is provided over SCPI (LAN/USB) and a built-in web server.
With 56 automated measurements, an optional 16-channel logic probe pod, and 500 Mpts deep memory, it suits embedded prototyping with high-resolution requirements and four-channel mixed-signal debug in dedicated R&D groups that need true 12-bit acquisition below the 1 GHz class.
