The MSO2304X is a 300 MHz, 4-channel mixed signal oscilloscope of the MSO2000X line. It provides a 5 GSa/s real-time sample rate (interleave), 100 Mpts of memory depth, and Ultra Phosphor 3.0 waveform mapping up to 2,000,000 wfms/s in Sequential Mode on a 10.1-inch capacitive multi-touch display. It targets four-channel mixed-signal R&D validation and power-electronics characterization.
The 8-bit front end extends to 12 effective bits with ERES, and a calculated rise time of ≤1.17 ns supports general mixed-signal and signal-integrity work. The instrument integrates nine bench functions: oscilloscope, optional 16-channel logic analyzer, optional arbitrary waveform generator, 2.5 GHz spectrum analyzer, 4-digit digital voltmeter, 7-digit hardware frequency counter, protocol analyzer, Bode plot, and optional power analyzer. RS-232/UART, I²C, and SPI decoding is standard; CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, FlexRay, SENT, and Audio are available as software licenses that do not expire. An optional 50 MHz dual-channel, 16-bit, 250 MSa/s arbitrary waveform generator includes the Bode plot analyzer. Remote control is available over USB 3.0, LAN (VXI-11), SCPI, and a built-in web server, and firmware updates are free.
With 56 automated measurements, zone triggering, and a 1280×800 multi-touch display, it suits embedded-systems teams consolidating a basic scope, separate generator, spectrum analyzer, and protocol decoder into a single footprint.
